St Andrew's Uniting Church Glenbrook
CHURCH WEDDINGS are special and reverent occasions. At St. Andrew's Uniting Church, Glenbrook, a wedding service is a service of worship conforming to the worship book Uniting in Worship 2 of the Uniting Church in Australia.

APPOINTMENT WITH THE MINISTER
​If you wish to be married at
St. Andrew's Uniting Church,
Glenbrook, the first step in the
process is to make an appointment
for an initial conference with the
minister by contacting her on
4739 1853. It is the policy of the
Uniting Church that the minister
in placement conducts the wedding
ceremony. Other ministers may
participate with the approval
of the minister.

PREMARITAL COUNSELLING
​At least two sessions of premarital counselling are required. These sessions are conducted by the minister and are part of the ceremonial process planning. An initial and non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is payable at the first counselling session.

GENERAL GUIDELINES RESERVING THE CHURCH
​​After meeting with the minister, reserve the church facilities through the church office for the wedding.

​PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS
​Photographs may be taken before
or after the ceremony. Available
light pictures may be taken during
the ceremony with permission of
the minister. All photographers,
amateur or otherwise, should be
advised that no flashes will be
allowed during the ceremony. Videography is allowed in discreet places.

MUSIC
​The music selections must be approved by the minister.

DECORATIONS
​The beauty of our sanctuary minimizes the need for elaborate decorations. Arrangements must be made with the church secretary for decorating the church prior to the ceremony. The church is available 3 hours prior to the wedding.

OTHER GUIDELINES
• Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the church or on the church property.
• This is a tobacco free facility and tobacco is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
• St. Andrew's Uniting Church, Glenbrook is not responsible for the loss of, or damage to, any property brought to the church for the occasion.

WEDDING FEES – 2014-2015
Wedding fees are listed below. With the exception of the initial deposit due at the first pre-marital counselling session, these fees are payable two weeks in advance of the wedding service and are preferably placed in a marked envelope for the person concerned. The fees may be directed through the minister. There is no charge for members of St. Andrew's Uniting Church.
